La setmana passada començàrem el curs amb Tim Herdon titolat "English alive" amb unes expectatives interessants. El taller s'articula a partir del projecte de treball "The stories in our life" i s'acompanya d'una pràctica d'actualització lingüística, complementada amb reflexions didàctiques sobre el tema de les narracions orals com a vehicle per a planificar les nostres sessions.
Cada setmana una persona del curs farà un resum de la sessió per tal que tothom sàpiga que anem fent. Acompanyarem el post amb alguns enllaços/hipervincles relatius als aspectes treballats. Tim va mostrar les seues dots per a la narració oral amb el llibre Orange Pear Apple Bear, d'Emily Gravett. Esperem escoltar cada setmana una bona història que ens servirà per a portar-la a l'aula. Aquesta setmana el resum l'ha fet fet Pilar Sotos:
First of all, we introduce ourselves in a peculiar way since apart from personal information we said one characteristic differentiating us from the rest of people.
Then, we concentrate on storytelling as a didactic way to teach, we reflect on stories’ elements, conventions and how useful can be to use stories as a didactic resource.
We work in groups to reconstruct one of Chaucer’s stories “The Wife of Bath”: we reorder and comment on the story from different points of view: a priest, a prostitute, a wise woman…… this activity is quite interesting and funny for us.
Tim tells us a joke and then asks for us to invent a new end for the joke but keeping the original sense of it.
Finally, we write our expectations about this course.
It seems the course is going to be original, funny and useful for us as teachers.
Cada setmana una persona del curs farà un resum de la sessió per tal que tothom sàpiga que anem fent. Acompanyarem el post amb alguns enllaços/hipervincles relatius als aspectes treballats.
